Raytech-Shaw Type Faceting Machine
This is a brand new,"Raytech-Shaw Type" faceting machine.
It is a 110 volt machine. It comes with a 6" zinc and a 6" Corian lap, a transfer block, and a 45/90 degree table adapter. Also included are 9 pin dops and some facet design diagrams.

The innovative Design Makes the Raytech-Shaw Style Faceting machine is easy to use.
One feature that makes the Raytech-Shaw Type unique is its removable handpiece.
While other facet machines require that you to rotate the quill and stone while it stays attached to the mast, the Raytech Shaw type handpiece sits on a precision table and is simply lifted up for easy examination of the stone.
In a commercial cutting operation the handpiece can easily be passed from one operator to the next.
Expert gem cutters have used this kind of machine to cut some of the world finest gemstones.
Features and Benefits:
Instant changeover from right to left hand operation by simply moving the water pot to the alternative mounting hole and flicking the motor reversing switch.
This machine has a variable speed, reversable, permanent magnet, motor, that drives a durable ball bearing arbor, with a six-inch platen.
The threaded handwheel raises and lowers the base platform (where handpiece rests) quickly, easily, and precisely.
Rotational adjusting of the collar permits precise alignment when re-doping and re-cutting damaged stones.
Lightweight precision-ground anodized aluminum dops are available in many sizes. Dops are retained in the quill, with a knurled fastening nut, so no tools are required. Side pin dops fit into a V-notch for absolute repeatability.
The unique transfer jig uses side pins on dop to automatically align crown and pavilion facets for precision alignment. Capable of cutting 1 mm, to 50 mm stones.
